Manchester United Have Completed The Signing Of Romelu Lukaku From Everton.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Everton.

Plans have been made by United for Lukaku to undergo a medical in Los Angeles, where he is spending his summer vacation, and potentially join up with the team in California on Sunday as they begin their preseason tour of the U.S..
United had been heavily linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata but it was reported their interest in the Spain international ended when they began to pursue Lukaku.
Lukaku is still in Los Angeles on holiday and, with United scheduled to fly to the city this weekend to begin their preseason tour, the Belgium striker could have his medical in the United States.
Negotiations are also set to continue between United and Everton to take Wayne Rooney back to Goodison Park. The United captain will be allowed to leave Old Trafford this summer after seeing his role in the team reduced under Jose Mourinho last season.
Mourinho knows Lukaku from his time in charge at Chelsea and it was the Portuguese coach who sanctioned the striker's £28m sale to Everton in 2014.
During three seasons at Everton, Lukaku has become one of the Premier League's most prolific strikers, scoring 71 goals in 133 games.
Everton were desperate to keep their main goal scorer, especially after already spending close to £100m this summer to help Ronald Koeman's side break into the top four.
However, the Belgium international has made no secret of his desire to play in the Champions League.
