Angry housewife arrested for pushing sister-in-law into pot of boiling water



A 24-year-old housewife, Basira Sagiru, has been captured by agents of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for pushing her sister-in-law into a pot of bubbling water.

This was affirmed to newsmen in Abuja, on Saturday, by the Head, Press and Public Relations Unit of the office, Josiah Emerole.

As per him, "Sagiru pushed her sister-in-law, who is living with her, into a pot of bubbling water over a minor difference in the house.

"The casualty, who is distinguished as Hasiya Ibrahim, endured high degree consumes before some great Samaritans safeguarded and acquired her to our home office Abuja."

Emerole said that the casualty was under the guardianship of NAPTIP for therapeutic consideration.
